Schools Competition Results

The Think Climate, Think Change Schools Competition ran from 28 April to 24 June 2009 and invited students to use their creative talents to answer the question - "What does climate change mean to me?"

Category Grades 3-4

SECOND PLACE: Anünaki Holmes, Home School, VIC

THIRD PLACE: Zoe Robinson, Osbornes Flat Primary School, VIC

Winners were publicly announced on Wednesday 12 August at an awards ceremony at Parliament House where Climate Change Minister Senator the Hon Penny Wong presented their prizes. Winners also had the opportunity to share their ideas with Prime Minister the Hon Kevin Rudd and Deputy Prime Minister the Hon Julia Gillard.

The students listed above were chosen from over 7600 entrants from across Australia. Entries were judged on creativity, originality and attention to the theme.
