Introduction

In the 'Lesson Ideas' and 'Student Activity Sheets' sections (top menu) you will find a selection of curriculum-linked lesson ideas with accompanying student activity sheets from the 'Construct a water wheel' EngQuest project. All resources are copyright free for use in your classroom.

In the 'Multimedia' section, there are two interactives which have been designed for use on interactive whiteboards (IWB) as well as PCs. In this section there is:

• a simple machines animation
• a crossword where middle years students are encouraged to answer the questions quickly to make sure the grid stays brightly lit.
