National Healthy Bones Week is organised by Dairy Australia.
Established in 1994, National Healthy Bones Week raises awareness of the important role calcium-rich foods, such as dairy, have in the development and maintenance of healthy bones and the prevention of osteoporosis later in life.
The week provides a wonderful reminder that consuming three serves of dairy, such as milk, cheese and yogurt every day helps build and maintain strong, healthy bones whether you are a child, teenager, teacher, parent/carer or grandparent.
Keep an eye on the official National Healthy Bones website for 2012 events and activities.
