Introduction

The National Folk Festival has developed educational resource material related to the violin/fiddle.

In the 'Lesson Ideas' and 'Student Activity Sheets' sections (top menu) you will find a selection of curriculum-linked lesson ideas with accompanying student activity sheets related to the violin/fiddle. All resources are copyright free for use in your classroom.

In the 'Multimedia' section, there are two educational and entertaining interactives. One is a multiple choice quiz and the other is a 3D model of a violin. They have been designed for use on interactive whiteboards (IWB) as well as PCs.
