Your letterbox checklist

Is your letterbox "postie-friendly"? Is it...

• Large enough to take A4-size magazines?
• Easily accessible and located at the front of your property, as close to the footpath as possible?
• Between 90cm and 120cm high?
• Clearly marked with your house number?
• Clear of bushes and shrubs?
• Lockable?
• Free of hazards such as wheelie bins or skateboards? (No one wants the postie to have a nasty accident!)
